Security at MLCC
MLCC tries to ensure a secure environment for transferring information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you enter in our secure areas such as but not limited to store. eCommunities public.MLCC and login.MLCC.
In addition to securing important areas with SSL, we also limit "idle" time on the site to approximately 30 minutes, this means that if you remain on the same page for more than 30 minutes, your session will automatically be removed and the next time you try to access a protected page you will be required to verify your identity by entering your password.
Credit Cards
Only the last four digits of your credit card numbers either entered in or stored with MLCC are displayed when confirming an order. We do submit the full credit card number to the credit card company during the transaction however this information is protected as noted above as well is not visible at any point during this process.
Credit cards you choose to store with MLCC are stored on our secure server and are not accessible by anyone except in the event of a fraudulant use investigation or other similar circumstance, even then only personel directly working on such investigations will have access to this information.
Passwords & Accounts
We provide several avenues to reduce the risk of unauthorized access to your account by way of "sign off" options, the opportunity to turn off long term cookies, as well as applying certain restrictions on password use, etc. It is however your ultimate responsibility to choose a password not easily associated to you.
